Exxon Tax Liability
In 2007 Exxon paid $30 billion in taxes to the federal government. From 2005-07 Exxon averaged about $28 billion in taxes. That's more taxes paid by Exxon than the lower 50% of taxpayers. The lower 50% of taxpayers amounts to 65 million taxpayers. Get that, Exxon pays more in federal taxes than the bottom 65 million taxpayers. Amazing, yet liberals want to confiscate "excess" profits from Exxon. Those "excess" profits go to pay dividends to average taxpayers like you and me. Hey, libs get your hands off my wallet.
